Adobe Firefly: Google Gemini Omni Flash Joins as Partner Model

On Wednesday, July 1, Adobe added Gemini Omni Flash — the latest video generation model from Google DeepMind — to the Firefly partner model lineup.

A new partner model joins Adobe Firefly.

Google DeepMind’s Gemini Omni Flash video generation and edit model was added to Adobe Firefly.

Gemini Omni Flash - Google DeepMind : 30 credits/sec

Gemini Omni is the latest model released by Google around mid-May, with its API access newly unlocked at the beginning of July.

Designed to handle both video generation and natural-language video editing, it stands as the successor to Veo 3.1.

Currently, even on official Google platforms (like Gemini and Flow), only the Flash model is available, while the Quality model is not publicly accessible.

Adobe Firefly Settings:

Adobe Firefly supports text-to-video (t2v), image-to-video (i2v), and video-to-video (v2v) generation.

It can produce videos up to 10 seconds long with audio, at a maximum resolution of 720p.

Generations within Firefly are generally free of watermarks.

Currently, it is only available on the Firefly Boards.

Access to partner models requires a Firefly Plan or Creative Cloud Pro subscription.

Firefly is currently running a one-year unlimited generation campaign, though it is unclear whether Gemini Omni Flash is included in this offer.
