Adobe Firefly: ByteDance Seedance 2.0 Joins as Partner Model

On Thursday, June 25, Adobe added Seedance 2.0 — the latest video generation model from ByteDance Seed — to the Firefly partner model lineup.

A new partner model joins Adobe Firefly.

ByteDance’s Seedance 2.0 video generation model was added to Adobe Firefly.

New Partner Model and Credit Cost:

(Video Model)

Seedance 2.0 - ByteDance : 90 credits/sec (720p)

Seedance 2.0 Fast - ByteDance : 50 credits/sec (720p)

Two versions have been added: one focused on quality and the "Fast" model prioritized for generation speed.

Released in February 2026, these are highly popular models known for their ability to generate high-quality video.

This marks the second time a Chinese-developed model has been added as an Adobe Firefly partner model, following Kling 3.0.

Adobe Firefly Settings:

Adobe Firefly supports text-to-video (t2v), image-to-video (i2v), and reference images.

It is capable of generating videos up to 15 seconds long with audio, at a maximum resolution of 1080p.

As of the release, 4K resolution generation with Seedance 2.0 and the use of the Mini model are not yet supported.

It is currently available within Firefly Generate Video, and Firefly Boards.

Access to partner models requires a Firefly Plan or Creative Cloud Pro subscription.

Since the credit consumption per video is quite high, we recommend a Firefly Pro Plus plan or higher.

Firefly is currently running a one-year unlimited generation campaign, though it is unclear whether Seedance 2.0 is included in this offer.
